PX Batch 2 continues the legacy established by the inaugural release - showcasing the extraordinary harmony that can be achieved through the careful marriage of fully matured Pedro Ximénez Sherry Casks.
Sourced directly from Spain, these decadent casks deliver remarkable depth, richness, and complexity, while allowing the signature elegance and purity of Overeem spirit to remain at the forefront.
Batch 2 is a continuation of our 20-year pursuit of excellence in cask selection and small-batch whisky making. It honours the craftsmanship and tradition upon which the distillery was built, while embracing the creativity, innovation, and bold direction of the next generation.
Rich, viscous, and beautifully layered, this release offers a compelling balance between indulgent sherry influence and refined Tasmanian single malt character - appealing equally to adventurous whisky drinkers and devoted traditionalists alike.

Distiller’s Notes:
“The nose opens with dark fruits, figs and rich boysenberry compote, layered delicately with festive baking spice and subtle oak. The palate delivers waves of dates, treacle and tart grape, beautifully balanced by warming pepper spice and rich sherried sweetness. Gentle notes of milk chocolate linger throughout, leading into a long, oily and mouth-coating finish. At 52% ABV, the refined and elegant Overeem spirit continues to shine beneath the richness of the PX influence - creating a whisky that is both decadent and remarkably balanced from start to finish.”
