TOKYO WHISKY & SPIRITS COMPETITION 2025
At the prestigious Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition, Overeem Distillery has proudly secured five medals, including two coveted Superior Gold Awards—a remarkable recognition on the global stage.
Out of more than 350 entries from around the world, only 19 Superior Gold Medals were awarded. Overeem is honoured to have received two, both for our Port Cask Matured expressions:

· Superior Gold – Port Cask Matured, Cask Strength
Equally significant is that every one of the five whiskies we entered was awarded a medal—a true testament to the quality, consistency, and craftsmanship of our core range of single cask, single malt whiskies.

While celebrating our 20th Anniversary, this news couldn’t come at a better time for Overeem Distillery. With an exciting year of events, milestone whisky releases and the launch of a new and exclusive internal whisky club, Overeem Distillery has not only cemented its place as a successful founding Tasmanian Distillery, but as one of the leading, luxury single malt whisky producers in the country.
